1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Music API service provided by Xbitcode ("we", "our", or "us") at music.xbitcode.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Music API is a REST API service that provides access to music data including songs, albums, artists, lyrics, and related metadata. We offer multiple subscription tiers with varying rate limits and features, accessible through API keys issued upon registration.

3. Account Registration

• You must sign in using a valid Google account to access our services.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must not create multiple accounts to circumvent rate limits or abuse free tiers.
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. API Usage and Rate Limits

• Each subscription plan has a defined daily request limit. Once exceeded, API calls will return a 429 (Too Many Requests) error.
• Daily limits reset every 24 hours from the time of your first request.
• You must not attempt to bypass rate limits through any means, including using multiple accounts or API keys.
• Automated scraping, bulk downloading, or redistribution of API data is prohibited unless explicitly authorized.

5. API Keys

• API keys are confidential and must not be shared publicly or with unauthorized third parties.
• Free tier users are limited to one API key. Paid plans may generate unlimited keys.
• You are responsible for securing your API keys. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
• We may revoke API keys without notice if we detect abuse or violation of these terms.

6. Subscription Plans and Payments

• Paid subscriptions are billed according to the plan's validity period (e.g., monthly, yearly).
• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR).
• Payments are processed securely through PayU. We do not store your payment card details.
• You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the dashboard.
• Subscriptions do not auto-renew. You will need to manually renew your plan before it expires to maintain uninterrupted service.
• Upon subscription expiry, your account will be downgraded to the free tier.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the API for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our service
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute API access or data without our written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our services
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use the API data to build a competing service
• Use automated bots to create accounts or generate API keys

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and software related to the Music API service are the intellectual property of Xbitcode. The music data provided through the API is sourced from third-party providers and remains the property of the respective rights holders. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the API data solely within your applications in accordance with these terms.

9. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice when possible.
• We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions caused by factors beyond our control.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Xbitcode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Xbitcode, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. All provisions of these terms which by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
